Serious flaws
This game has potential, but also some serious flaws. The production rates are terrible. Take for example, your "supplies". You need supplies to do everything from build, to unlock research, to train fighters. There are certain buildings that produce supplies, but you only have interims of 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 8 hours, or 1 day. So if you are playing at night before bed, you can either have it ready when you wake up, or not until the next night, since there is no option in between 8 and 24 hours.
The "goods" produced are an even bigger problem. You need goods to unlock research, negotiate territories, etc. Goods buildings that are "boosted" by areas youve conquered will produce say 5 units in 4 hours. Goods buildings that arent boosted will only produce 1 unit in 4 hours. And often the amount of goods you need to unlock something will be upwards of 20 or 30 units regardless of whether you have that building or if it is boosted. There is a trade market, but its very difficult to get what you need, and theres no way to just buy the goods.
Expansions are also very difficult. They are few and far between, and you must plan your layout very carefully from the start. I ended up starting my game completely over because I didnt realize this and quickly ran out of room. There is no way to store buildings, so if you dont have any empty space, you cant rearrange anything. You also cant rotate the buildings, so its hard to maximize space.
I really like the idea of this game, but its just so difficult to make progress Im not sure how much longer I will keep playing. There definitely needs to be some major changes to keep the game interesting and worth playing.
